FIELD NOTEBOOK

Flamenco, seen from the inside

A notebook to see flamenco through different eyes

In anthropology, the field notebook is where you write down everything you observe while living among people: gestures, words, customs, what is said and what is left unsaid.

I've been doing fieldwork all my life without knowing it: in tablaos, peñas, classes and dressing rooms. This year I'm starting to study Anthropology, and this is my notebook. Here I'll share what I learn and how it makes me see differently what I've been living for more than twenty-five years.
